Glucosinolates have antibiotic and cancer-inhibiting properties. They are also helpful for urinary tract infections. The positive properties of broccoli are also noteworthy. Its ingredients can help with stomach ulcers and kill the Heliobakter pylori bacterium. However, you should always consult a doctor in the event of illness and not only rely on herbal remedies.

However, glucosinolates are easily destroyed by heat. The heat-labile substances are subject to a loss of effectiveness of 20 to 80 percent, depending on the cooking time. So that the full health-promoting spectrum of the mustard oils is used, you should preferably steam cabbage vegetables, but also eat them raw. It can be eaten raw in the form of lettuce and freshly squeezed juice.

Mnuchin, a former investment banker and film financier, was already well positioned with a villa in Bel Air, a city apartment on Manhattan’s Park Avenue and a waterfront property in the Hamptons, but found a place to stay here for 12.6 million dollars. In return, in American terms, there were 12.5 bathrooms: eleven full bathrooms and three guest toilets. It was Mnuchin who negotiated the billion dollar rescue packages for business, small businesses and millions of citizens with the Democrats in record time when the economy collapsed in the spring. Trump was proud and then pissed off when he heard on Fox News that the Democrats were getting too many of their projects through. Mnuchin bowed to Trump’s whims and had Chief of Staff Mark Meadows stand by his side, until recently a far-right MP – and now everything has stalled. Around the corner from Mnuchin’s property is Benton Place. Here, in front of the largest house on the street, a Mediterranean-style villa, the newspapers are on the stairs. Nobody in the Conway house right now. Trump adviser Kellyanne and her husband George only paid just under eight million dollars for it – but only eight bathrooms. (As with Mnuchin, the formula seems to be: a million per bathroom.)

Kellyanne Conway’s role was to exemplify a maxim for the rest of the Trump system: the more shameless, the better. From day one on, she bent the truth with as much relish as the boss – her word creation will not be forgotten "alternative facts". Like no one else (except Trump), she folded the journalists. I experienced almost masochistic rituals with her. You stood in front of her in the White House to learn something, but learned nothing but caustic instructions. It showed that one rule does not only apply to Trump himself: Those who lie constantly receive less criticism than those who only do it now and then.

Conway was the most unabashed saleswoman of Trump’s politics. Her husband George, who first wanted to go to Trump’s Justice Department, rose to be the most poisonous opponent of the president on Twitter. Every day an acrid tweet about his wife’s employer, then he even founded an anti-Trump association with other disappointed Republicans. So the Conways marriage became a big issue in Washington and a symbol of the Trump era.

In the end, it was the children who put an end to the ghost. Daughter Claudia, 15, railed on TikTok and Instagram against Trump and against his PR wife, his own mother. One of her last messages was that she wanted to renounce her parents by lawsuit. Now the father has stopped tweeting and Mrs Mama has given up her job at the White House.

The ministers and advisors come and go under Trump as if in a dovecote, only three stayed: loyal, pain-free, subjugated. Kushner, Mnuchin, Conway. Now there are only two left.

The Conway case reveals a truth about the servants in the Trump system: they get power and attention, but their service to Trump and his conflict-oriented reign creates upheavals.

It’s extreme with the Conways, but neighbor Mnuchin also knows something about it. His father, whose encouragement he sought so much, is loud "New York Times" "disgusted" of the son’s policy. His nephew recently attacked him on Facebook, the wife just says that she says nothing about politics.

The situation is different at Kushner – Jared has married into the close circle of the family business. So far it is only Trump’s sister and niece who deny the president’s character. Only Kushner’s sister-in-law, the model Karlie Kloss, is now campaigning for Joe Biden.

But Jared and Ivanka also paid a price. After the election victory, they thought they would move to Washington as the new Kennedys: a radiant power couple at the center of society, their house on Tracy Place as the salon of the mighty. 

Nothing came of that. Friends have turned away, others haven’t even turned.
