What exactly is the true Point of an Application, Anyway?

What is the point of a college application? This may be a question you’ve asked yourself either out of reflection or perhaps frustration if you’ve started working on your applications. We ask you for the application because you want to reach know you and acquire a sense of the way you may thrive academically and really at USC. We do not have time to sit back and talk to every applicant one on one so you are asked by us to provide us with many different information to try and gain a sense of who you’re. As you conclude your applications, ask yourselves if the content reflects who you really are, not simply being a student but in addition as a person.
Writing a statement that is personal stressful. Up until this point, we’m guessing most school that is high have only written academic documents. You have been asked to evaluate works of fiction, economic trends, historical events, etc. but likely no-one has sat you down and asked one to write about your self. Given the goal is to give admission counselors a feeling of yourself, be authentic and genuine in content and tone. Write about things that are vital that you you. This is mostly for sophomores and juniors, as seniors have obviously currently perfected and written their essays (right!?).
